Growing up Jason's family enjoyed all kinds of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, and shooting sports. That strong family tradition lead to Jason studying Fish and Wildlife Management in college and working for several different conservation organizations. Today it is Jason's turn to pass those same traditions on and help others enjoy the outdoors and the fulfilling experience of owning land.

Jason has also served as an Iowa Hunter Education Instructor, worked in the Conservation Corps and volunteered for many different conservation agencies for projects ranging from tree plantings to whitetail deer telemetry studies in addition to a nearly 20 year career as a police officer and police chief.

Unwilling to spend the rest of his life in an office or cruiser Jason turned to helping others realize their dreams of land ownership. Today as a Land Specialist Jason uses his education and experience in conservation, agriculture, knowledge of whitetail habitat, and Iowa's great outdoor opportunities to help you understand each properties unique qualities and abilities. He knows you do not just want to buy a farm, you want to buy the farm that is perfect for you. He knows that owning and managing your own farm is one of life's most satisfying rewards.

Being an avid outdoorsman Jason enjoys everything from Spring turkey to mushrooming, through the fall archery season and into late winter muzzleloader season. It is hard to keep Jason indoors anytime of the year. His number one love is easily whitetail archery hunting. In his spare time he manages the 260 acre farm he lives on in the Loess Hills of Western Iowa for all wildlife. He and his wife Nicole live the country lifestyle and enjoy the rewards of farm life and self-sufficiency.
